āSaul! Saul!ā
Acts 9:4 (NLT)
A familiar scene. The LORD calls a name. Repeats it twice for emphasis. The trajectory of a life changed in an instant! In Acts 9:4, on this Roman Road, it was Saulās turn.
As the LORD made Himself known, Saul became a new person. Paul. āThat I may know Himā¦ā (Philippians 3:10, KJV) became the defining feature of Paulās life. And with each encounter with the LORD, Paul came to see how fully he was known. What a beautiful feeling!
With this weekās playlist, we reach the end of the ninth psalm. Psalm 9, a song of praise, used the first half of the Hebrew alphabet. Psalm 10, a hymn of lament, will use the remaining letters. Praise and lament. Side by side on this road we walk with the LORD.
From freshly mounted gates of praise to a song for hope for the down-and-out, here are the last three daily lyrics from Psalm 9.
